Ultimate Triathlon announces the launch of their website www.ultimatetriathlon.com and the grand opening of its midtown store.

Ultimate Triathlon, Inc, New Yorks first and ONLY triathlon store opened its doors at 155 W46th St on January 5, 2004, and is gearing up to launch its online store. Retail store features latest triathlon gear as well as free spinning and running classes, clinics and seminars.

New York, NY March 10, 2004 -- Ultimate Triathlon is a company for triathletes, by triathletes. Its mission is not simply to sell a product, but to foster passion for and dedication to the sport of triathlon, by making it accessible to athletes of all levels, from amateurs contemplating their first race to seasoned professionals. Ultimate Triathlon is comprised of an online store that is a one stop shop for all triathlon equipment; a retail store in New York City that sells gear and provides free spinning classes and triathlon clinics; an online magazine that covers the latest developments in endurance sports; a rental service that allows athletes to rent equipment for their race either from our store or our booth at race expos.

The online store will feature the latest, top quality triathlon equipment and gear, from bikes and apparel to nutrition and supplements. Products are shipped to anywhere in the world and are backed with a quality guarantee.

The retail store also features the same quality equipment, as well as free spinning and running classes, clinics and seminars held by top triathletes. Lectures on nutrition will also take place at the store, with a different topic at each session. At the stores opening Wendy Ingraham was present to sign posters, and TYR held the first clinic. Spinning classes are held on Tuesday and Friday, and participants are required to bring their own bikes which are mounted onto our cycle ops. The running group meets each Wednesday and runs in Central Park.

Following its mission to make triathlon as accessible as possible Ultimate Triathlon created a rental service through which athletes can test out race wheels and wetsuits before they buy them, or rent them for their race either online, in the New York store, or on the day of their event at the races expo.
